A very comfortable hotel - traditional yet modernised. Friendly staff. Good location in downtown Bakersfield, which has a number of interesting art deco buildings. Very good breakfast.

Lovely hotel in downtown Bakersfield. We were originally booked into another hotel that we really didn’t like checked out and moved to the Padre. A very good choice, very welcoming, very comfortable great food and service.
