Very friendly and helpful people are working at the reception. Hotel is not far from the city centre, so you need about 7 minutes by walk. The area of the hotel is quite and green. You can have a great view to the mountains.

The general feel of the hotel was rather old fashioned but very well appointed in its day, and for some that would be what they want. Located at the back of the town on a steep hill it is not close to the train station or the bus station, and therefore not ideal for anybody walking with luggage. Being bed a breakfast there was no obvious place near by for an evening meal with no suggestions of where to look. The view over the town was good high up on the hill side. The hotel was not wheelchair friendly to get in , but once in did have a lift. The lift from the hotel down to the lower street level appears to be only usable with a special door card from the reception, so no good for arriving and leaving that way.

The staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome right away. Very nice breakfast eggs cooked to order. Pot of coffee was a nice touch.
