Please note that guests arriving by car are kindly asked to take the south exit of Bad Hofgastein to reach Haus Friedrichsburg.The use of the local cable car "Gasteiner Bergbahnen" is included in the room rate for stays between 16. May to 2. November 2025. They are not included in winter. Check-in is possible after 1 PM. If you arrive after 7 PM, we will deposit the key in a key box.Please inform us of your arrival time so we can send you the key box details in advance.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

At first I was given a budget single room although I upgraded to a superior single room through booking. The front desk Lady was really nice and offered me an upgrade to a Beautiful double bed room. It is in a really old Building and it has its charm. The rooms are pretty basic but comfortable and have everything one needs. The view was amazing! The lift is old and really small but it does its job. The Breakfast is amazing with options of freshly made egg dishes. Almost everything is organic and/or local. It is a bit hard to find the parking so Id recommend contacting the host when you get there. All the staff was really helpful and friendly. The location is amazing - you are in the center of the town but it is reachable by car. Id recommend choosing your room at first and not trust booking to contact the host about further upgrades. 100% recommendation from me!
