The fine print
The property can be reached by a seaplane or a domestic flight. Seaplane and domestic flight transfers are arranged through third party companies. While the resort assists in making reservations for both seaplane transfers and domestic flights, the resort has no control on scheduling and departure timings which can be affected by weather conditions, international flight connections and aviation regulations.Please note that the seaplane transfers are for the following additional fees from 1 May 2025:
- Adult: USD 650
- Children aged 2–11 years: USD 550Please note that due to safety reasons; seaplanes only operate during daytime i.e. 06:30H – 16:00H.
Flight Duration: 35 minutes from Sea Plane Terminal at Malé Airport to Dusit Thani Maldives.Domestic flight and Speedboat (shared) are for the following additional fees from 1 May 2025:
- Adult: USD 550
- Children aged 2–11 years: USD 450Domestic flight transfers from Malé Airport to Dharavandhoo Airport in Baa Atoll, including return speedboat transfers to the resort, through Fly Me.
Flight Duration: 20 minutes from Domestic Terminal at Malé Airport to Dharavandhoo Domestic Airport, followed by 10-minute speedboat journey to Dusit Thani Maldives.Luggage:
Baggage allowance on seaplane and on domestic flight is 25kg checked in luggage and 5kg for hand luggage per person (Excluding Infants). Excess luggage will be chargeable. Please select your preferred flight transfer arrangement and let us know through our Reservations Team at [email protected]We require a minimum of 72 hours prior notification to arrange the transfers. Children under 12 years will eat for free based on the rules and meal plan accompanied by an adult, excluding alcoholic beverages. Maximum 2 free kids per unit paid.Please note that a Green Tax of USD 12 per child, per night is applicable additionally. This tax is already calculated and included in the booking price for adults.Please present the same credit card used to guarantee your booking when checking in/making the payment at the hotel. We spent a week here post Sri Lanka. On arrival, the sea plane was too full and one of our bags had to stay behind and arrive later. Not the islands fault obviously but it was annoying! The island is beautiful, the food was great, the room was absolutely huge and the decking and pool were also big. Fantastic house reef and sea life! Room: we stayed in an overwater pool villa (214) I’ve stayed on a few islands and this one was the biggest villa I’ve been in. The water was choppy, but that’s just the time of year, the other side of the island was calmer waters (by the dive centre). The island: the island was pretty big as Maldives islands go, most people use bikes to get around it but we don’t cycle so spent a lot of time walking! The paths through the island are nice and sheltered. Food: we ate at the buffet restaurant most days, there was good choice but I wouldn’t say it’s the best I’ve visited. There’s other restaurants, we tried both the Thai restaurant and the seafood restaurant and both were really great. Excursions: we used the dive centre a few times, for guided snorkels on the house reef, which were great, we say eagle rays, turtles, baby sharks, octopus and loads and loads of fish. We also had booked the turtle safari but at the time of leaving there was a manta call so did that instead, we saw 4 mantas! Which was amazing as it was our first time seeing them, it was a great trip and only 5 of us on the boat. Worth the cost for the experience! Definitely recommend you sign up to get the call!

Reality was better than expectations 👍 Beautiful island, good service, nice atmosphere! The team at the resort were attentive and remembered what we liked and made sure our needs were not only met but exceeded.

Secluded area with high quality facilities. 3 restaurants ( Thai, plant based and grill) plus market place for buffet breakfast, food was sensational. We stayed at the waterfront villa with the pool. Had a great time snorkeling , just a step away from our deck. We saw lots of fish , couple of reef sharks and turtles. Super amazing experience. Lovely friendly staff and the whole experience was fantastic.

This is an amazing little island. The quality of wildlife is outstanding. It has a natural beauty and well worth a visit. The villas are well maintained along with many of the facilities. A beautiful place indeed
