The house is a beautiful, renovated set of farmhouses and buildings, with a spa and outdoor swimming pool. Everything was top quality with special touches, such as being able to order a homemade picnic in a wicker basket, buy local wine and order drinks and nibbles. We enjoyed a fabulous 4 course, home-cooked dinner with veg from the garden.Our hosts were lovely, as we're their two young children. We swam until late, which was wonderful. The house was in the countryside but easy access. It was very relaxing and quiet.

The house and its surroundings are as picturesque as you’d hope for in this part of France – peaceful, green, and full of character – but it’s really Fiona and Lionel that make the place special. They’re genuinely welcoming, attentive without being overbearing, and run the place with quiet confidence. Merci infiniment, Fiona et Lionel — c’était un vrai privilège.
