Exceptionally relaxing and enjoyable stay, super friendly and helpful hosts (the whole family were lovely!) who balanced giving us the perfect amount of privacy with doing everything they could for us. Super warm welcome, gifts throughout the stay of local wine, chocolates, soap and even freshly laid eggs from their own hens! Beautifully clean and comfortable modern villa with stunning private pool, lots of places to relax indoors and out, fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine, stove, oven, dishwasher and washing machine, plus electric grill outside on the patio, and two separate well-sized and comfortable bedrooms. Great location, really peaceful and yet only a 10-minute walk to the village bakery and café/bar, an easy 20-minute walk to a large supermarket (the hosts offered to drive us there but we were happy to walk) and also a 10-minute walk to the bus stop for the free local bus into Auriol itself. A 30-minute drive from Marseille – we arrived by train into Marseille and then took an Uber on the way there and a pre-arranged Booking.com car transfer on the way back. All in all a fantastic holiday, and we're already planning to return next year – highly recommended, thank you again for everything David and family and see you again soon!
