We had a wonderful stay! Deb and Don are fantastic hosts – warm, welcoming, and attentive. The house is spotlessly clean and thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into creating a great guest experience. The surrounding scenery is stunning, just as pictured. We would highly recommend Ōkura River Estate to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway that still feels like home.

Really loved how it’s very secluded away from the main road. Very quiet place to have some down time. Very clean. Loved the outdoor space.

The staff were so lovely, they felt like family. The house was extremely high standards and the beds were extremely comfortable! We loved our stay.
