Great location, in walking distance from the Aso train station (about 10 minutes). Guest house was clean and comfortable for two nights stay. Our twin room was big enough, with small sofa, so we could relax there. Bus station is next to the train station. Bus to the volcano works on first come - first serve basis, so it is recommended to go to the station slightly in advance, especially during the rush hours. Local onsen is near to the station but it was closed on Monday, so we were not able to visit it.

The hostess was very nice and helped with planing our days at aso. Also there is a lot of information provided of the area! The guesthouse itself was very warm, clean, nice and welcoming. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy. Also a few minutes walk from the station and the convenience store. The kitchen was well a quipped.

The property is close to the train station. It is clean. The rooms are comfortable and large. It is a small guesthouse the lady who runs it friendly and helpful. There is a board full of information about buses, onsens, activities and restaurants which was really helpful. The stay was lovely 😃
