A wonderful house in the center with two floors and a roof terrace with a view of the volcano! It was a real pleasure to be there. The staff was so polite, smiling and helpful.Highly recommend!

Location Location Location. On a very safe street lined with local restaurants, hip coffee shops, small grocery shops5min walk from the main square, in the oldest tambo of the city, according to the very friendly and helpful hosts who received us. Which means the building is protected, which preserves all the charm and gives the feeling of living in a small quiet village rather than in Peru's second city, but limits modern installations (for ex. bathrooms are tiny and one could hear from the upper room our parents who were in the room below as if we were in the same room). There was no noise to be heard from the street though. The rooftop terrace is a delight to have the aperitif, with view on 2 volcanoes. Advise to keep the kitchen door closed in the night and when going out, not because of any security concerns but because of visits by cats... :)
