Suzan, our host, is absolutely lovely - bpth as a person and as a host! The hostel is part of her home, sp the place ends up feeling very homey. We absolutely loved pur stay with her! The location is a bit off the center so it is quite and not so hectic, but still walking distance from the cemter.

Wonderful homestay with a Guatemalan family. It is possible to book shuttles and trips to Acatenango through the host. Super cute puppy Horchata who is always happy to welcome you. Kitchen for making your own meals. Free breakfast was an added bonus!

We stayed at Huellas Hostal for 4 days and had a wonderful stay. The host is so lovely and helpful, and she has the most gorgeous, friendly puppy. The free breakfast was an added bonus- sometimes bread, jam and fruit, other times eggs, beans and bread. If you want to have an authentic stay with a Guatemalan family then this is your place!
