Hotel in the very center of the city. Took 40min to reach the airport on a Sunday. Paid 55 000 for the taxi, while hotel would charge 80 000 (unless you can share). Interior design is gorgeous. Haden't slept in such a good bed since a long time in my trip in Mada, would have loved to stay longer than a night. Loved the little soaps available in the bathroom. Buffet breakfast for 35 000 Ar, but there's also a delicious bakery next door. The rooms are by the pool but are actually super quiet at night, no noise of people having dinner or drinks right in front!

Hotel Sakamanga is a charming, unique, beautiful hotel that is actually quite large but feels small with its winding staircases, odd paraphernalia adorning the walls, little nooks, a restaurant, a bar and an airy breakfast area. The breakfast was really good, fresh bread each morning, and staff were all great. Recommend.

There is nothing not to like. It’s funky, interesting and in character with the city. Their history to what the hotel is today is testament to a positive experience for most clients who are allergic to Hyatt, Hilton and vanilla accomodation.
