This is a nice, modern appartment in a quiet, residential area. It took me about 12 minutes to walk to the lake, from where it's about the same again to the touristy stuff in the Vielle Ville (not Annecy-le-Vieux, which, confusingly, is somewhere different). There are supermarkets, bakers, and restaurants all within walking distance. My car never needed to move from the carpark. The host very kindly waited an extra two hours for me with the keys after I'd been delayed by a Swiss motorway closure. His friendly willingness to do that was very much appreciated.

Quiet location. There is a nice bakery just at the end of the street. Tha apartment is equipped with everything one might need.

The location is perfect if you travel by car - no issue with parking, and you can still get the lake by feet of necessary, though it's not quite close
