The property was on two floors, surprisingly large and about as central in the old town as you could wish for. On arrival it was marvellous after a long day of travelling, to simply go downstairs and have a meal in Chez Monique which literally two metres from the property's main entrance! Not having to wander about in a strange town to find a restaurant on the day you arrive is a big bonus. Recommendation: the pizzas in Chez Monique are fabulous! The property is extremely well appointed and literally a home from home. Anything we needed, we found. We particularly appreciated the top quality toilet rolls. So many places we have stayed in give you thin and cheap ones but not here! The square outside can be busy but the windows were extremely good at shutting out noise last thing at night. The property is effectively soundproofed.
