Amazing location right in the old town, and with prearrangeable parking around the corner in a secure garage for which there was no additional charge (note you cannot pull up outside the flat to unload and the road where the garage is, is for "authorised vehicles only" so we are hoping not to be landed with fines - proper directions would have been incredibly helpful as this wasn't picked up in maps or on google maps). Parking in Annecy is limited/difficult so this is a fantastic facility, but navigating the streets is tricky. You definitely need a wingman in the car with you! The flat is well laid out inside and spacious with really nice, quirky furniture and knick knacks, and well decorated. The bathroom was great with a brilliant and sizeable shower, plus a separate bath. A franprix and monoprix (incorporating a supermarket upstairs) are just around the corner, as is a local bakery (L'Alpain). Nice classic white bed linen and spacious double beds. Good size towels. The terrace was a lovely outside space too but it was 34 degrees on our visit so was too hot to enjoy using it. We were allowed to check out a little later than the set 11am which was very much appreciated on our final Sunday. I really wanted to love this flat as it could so easily be a 10/10......but read on....
