Don't expect luxury but do expect an interesting stay in a historic home and wonderful hospitality from the charming hosts - cheese, humour and cats! What not to like?

During our two-week holiday, my partner and I spent three delightful days at Quinta do Espírito Santo. Our stay was truly memorable, thanks to the warm hospitality of the owners, Francisco and Lucilia. Their welcoming nature and the enriching conversations we shared with them over a delicious breakfast each morning allowed us to gain fascinating insights into the history of Terceira (as well as the unique flavors of Azores cheese!). Francisco and Lucilia’s passion and their genuine interest in connecting with guests made our experience exceptional. If you’re looking for a place where meaningful exchanges and authentic interactions are valued, Quinta do Espírito Santo is the perfect choice. We recommend staying at Quinta do Espírito Santo for anyone seeking a warm, educational, and culturally immersive retreat!

The best part about the stay here were the hosts. The conversations with them over the breakfast were so insightful. We loved our stay though it was short.

The breakfast was delicious, with good company, and the house/room were lovely. We enjoyed a walk around the garden in the morning too!
