Excellent location on Keizersgracht Canal, very central yet quiet. Empire Suite Garden View is one of a group of suites at the very top of an historic Canal House. The ‘Garden View’ suite faces the back of the property, overlooking a stunning leafy garden. We enjoyed sitting at the large window with a chilled beer (complementary drinks in fridge from lovely hosts) watching the birds. Absolutely bliss. Also the furnishings were of a high standard- the bed was super comfortable!

The room was absolutely perfect, cozy, bright, and comfortable. It had a beautiful view of the garden and everything you needed for a short stay. Thijs was such a gracious host in offering us recommendations for the neighborhood and also carrying our bags up all those flights of stairs-truly a gentleman. This place also had THE most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in in all of my years traveling; I would return to this spot just for the bed. Can’t recommend the space enough!
