Great location to start. Hotel comfortable, room small , so not a lot of space to move around. Be prepared for a staircase like climbing a ladder. Staff is very friendly and speaks English.

My 20 year old son and I came over the overnight Harwich/Hook of Holland ferry and wanted a hotel for one night only. The Titus is a budget hotel situated in an attractive area (overlooking one of the canals) and in fairly close proximity to cafes and restaurants, etc. It is the opposite end of the city centre to the railway station and thus a 45-minute brisk walk (albeit through attractive and interesting parts of the city) if you don't want to incur taxi costs. Our hotel room had an ensuite, was clean, and perfect for our needs. Would recommend if on budget or to someone who is more interested in seeing the sights rather than spending time in a hotel room or lounge with all the frills.
