The Ambassade Hotel will reserve an amount on your credit card equivalent to 1 night to guarantee the reservation. This amount will be shown on your credit card statement. Location is perfect. Beautifully kept hotel with very comfortable rooms. Mattresses are a little soft for my liking. The staff are welcoming, warm and very professional. This is my new home when visiting Amsterdam, which is very often.

The breakfast was excellent. The staff were welcoming , attentive and cheerful. The food in the restaurant was top class and the service was likewise. The library bar was inviting.
