The breakfast was good but the cost was too high. we made the reservations and later we sent an e-mail for a room with a double bed. When we arrived the receptionist said they only had a room with 2 single beds and that we can put the beds together which we did. Also when we moved the beds there was trash under the bed. The lamp on the right side of the bed did not work. We was in room 235.

We stayed here for the Dutch National Swimming championships, as my daughter was swimming at the event. There were quite a few other swimmers staying there as well. In that sense the location was fantastic. We were dropped off by car and brought our bikes. It was easy to cycle 5 minutes to the pool and 10 minutes into the old part of Amersfoort for dinner. It's a pretty old town, so it was lovely to explore. The hotel was clean, modern and bright and had comfy beds, a great bathroom and helpful staff. It was quiet in the evenings (probably helped by the fact all the swimmers and families had to be up early for racing.)

The room was nicely decorated, the wet room shower was lovely to use. They had a few English TV channels on the TV too. The gym looked well-equipped and was free to use, not that I did :)

Very nice, new hotel. Beautiful spacious rooms with AC, comfortable beds, friendly staff.
