Wanted a relaxing and peaceful long weekend break, so we booked a 3 night stay at Holbeck Ghyll. What an amazing hotel with wonderful views. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We were lucky to stay in one of the Lodges where the views were breathtaking, the room and bathroom was larger than a normal sized room and all were exceptionally clean and comfortable. A big shout out to Ian for his amazing sense of humour and for looking after us at breakfast. We had such a laugh, whilst he remained professional and polite at all times. An absolute gent who is a credit to the hotel.

Fantastic location overlooking Lake Windermere. Great view from bedroom and the terrace. Good dinner, breakfast and friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.
