Location is the real selling point here. 2 minutes from all the local shops and restaurants. Views on both sides are beautiful, on one side, a garden with a bench looking out to the hills and with the church peeking through and the other side has a wonderful decking in a peaceful area with plenty of trees. Two comfortable lounge areas and nice little bedrooms. Also handy to have two toilet/ showers.

Ideal location for a walking holiday, perfect for accessing centre of Ambleside, whilst it wasn't much of a walk, it is however a definite incline which is worth being aware of if you're less mobile. On the plus side however, this means that you're in a prime position to observe the daily RAF display as they practice low flying heading up the valley towards Grasmere. Parking for two vehicles at location, with similar facilities on both level's of the accommodation which meant my less mobile mom (using crutches at present) was more than able to cope upstairs when on her own. Upstairs had double bedroom, lounge (with stunning views over the town towards Loughrigg), kitchen and separate toilet and shower room. My parents reported the bed gave them the best nights sleep they'd had in awhile. Downstairs was a twin room, additional lounge and bathroom with tumble dryer, endless supply of piping hot water was ideal after four days on the fells. Easy to boost heating, every possible piece of equipment you could need in the kitchen, good sized fridge-freezer, dishwasher, electric hob and spacious oven. Welcome pack includes dishwasher tabs, scourer, cloth, two tea towels and two bin liners. Fabulous accommodation, highly recommended, I'll definitely book here again, if looking to stay in this part of the Lakes, thank you.

The location is perfect for us in Ambleside, easy access to lengthy walks, shopping, eateries and cocktails.
