Rod (the owner) was absolutely fantastic, he was so accommodating and a truly lovely guy, we felt very lucky to be staying under his hospitality. The room was so nice and cozy. Overall we had a brilliant stay

Rod and his daughter were extremely friendly and helpful. The property is very convenient, just a couple of minutes walk to shops in the centre of Ambleside.

Rod’s wife was away due to an illness in the family so he was clearly under pressure trying to look after us on his own. He did an amazing job - a really lovely man who made us feel very welcome. The room was immaculately clean and the location of the B& B was perfect. The parking permit was a great bonus

The first thing we noticed it was so very welcoming,Kate is a wonderful host,the property was light and clean, nothing was too much trouble the breakfast was wonderful room was very nice
