Excellent central location, an interesting friendly host. Loved the cold beers in a barrel that you could help yourself to on an honesty system next morning. Also bottles of wine and port for sale on an honesty basis. The accommodation is a former family home so is a bit different to the usual tourist places. We liked that others may not.

Superbly set up and run; an old family home modified with numerous comfortable rooms, ours overlooking the river and the old stone bridge. The owner showed us around, very proud of how it’s been preserved. Parking on site.

Excellent central location with a great view in front. Shops, restaurants and historic areas all within walking distance. Being on a riverfront was a bonus and beautiful.

The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect! Right by the river and very peaceful. Even though there was a power outage in the area at the time, the atmosphere remained warm and welcoming. In the evening, candles were lit, I was given a flashlight for the night, and they lent me a power bank to charge my phone. The staff and the owner were incredibly friendly.
