My 90 year old mother, my girlfriend, and myself spent 4 nights at this amazing hotel. The staff were extremely helpful to accommodate special requests for my mother and for my girlfriend. The location could not be better. The rooms are stunning. Attention to detail makes all the difference, and the hotel left nothing out. The hotel is built within the walls of the citadel, and laying at the swimming pool between the ramparts is stunning. Special mention of Carlos, he went above and beyond and exceeded all expectations of service.

My family of 16 people stayed at the Pestanz Alvor South Beach Hotel. We ranged in ages from 2 years old to 90 years old. The hotel was perfect for us. The staff were terrific. They really went above and beyond to make our reunion and celebrations as wonderful as possible. The beach is right in front of the hotel, and the village of Alvor is a pleasant 7-minute walk along the boardwalk. The buffet breakfast had a lot of options for everyone, including our 2 vegan family members. I highly recommend the hotel for family holidays.

Pool area is lovely! Staff are very helpfull and friendly Very clean, lovely location just off the boardwalk. Really nice walk into Alvor Town Bed was in the centre of the room and with the curtains open on the big window made an incredible sea view! Nice selection of items for breakfast
