The fine print
The Seaplane journey from Velana International Airport to LUX* South Ari Atoll will take approximately 25–35 minutes. A lounge at the seaplane terminal will be provided to you free of charge (Complimentary basis only on arrival), while waiting for your boarding time. The waiting time in the lounge will be approximately 2 hours.The seaplane company is a third party service provider and transfers in connection with all international flights will be arranged by them. Every effort will be made to transfer our guests to the resort within 2 hours of arrive at the lounge. Seaplane operating hours are from 06:00–16:00, during daylight hours only.Please share your flight details with the property at least 4 days before your arrival as required by the seaplane company to secure your seat(s) for the seaplane transfer. Any flight booking made within 3 days before arrival is subject to flight availability. The seaplane operating times will be between 06:00–16:00 PM from Male or from the resort.Please note that a Green Tax of USD 6 per child, per night is applicable additionally. This tax is already calculated and included in the booking price for adults.Roundtrip seaplane: (Excluded fees).We appreciate that plans can change, and unforeseen circumstances can get in the way of a planned holiday. To give you peace of mind, we highly recommend that you consider taking out travel insurance.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. Especially at East Market, breakfast coffee, healthy food, the kindness of the staff, and the fantastic atmosphere around were all great. Especially, the people who always greeted us with a smile made the atmosphere of Lux even happier. It was very nice. Especially, Ullala was very nice

The resort was beyond expectations. We were met by staff as soon as we landed in Male airport and we were looked after for the entire duration of the stay. The villa was stunning, as was the rest of the resort. The bars and restaurants were lovely and the beaches around the island were unbelievable. The gym was well equipped with cardio and strength equipment and there were plenty of classes too. This was our first visit to the Maldives and won't be our last, we would definitely come back to Lux.

Some of the staff were really warm and hospitable. Worth mentioning were Ahmad from housekeeping, Rachel from reception, Nur from Cafe Lux and Niyaz from F&B. The treasure hunt for bottles was really fun. The buffet spread was good except they could have change some of the items. Activities like cinema night was great. Resort has many instagram hot spots for great photos.
