Free breakfast was plesent with bread, pastries, yogurt and cereal. The room was incredibly quaint and romantic. The coffee machine in our room was a lovely touch. Rather expensive area to stay, but there is the first national trust property in the village and a fine church. A lovely walk to The Long Man, the seven sisters, and a walk down the river Cuckmere to the sea. There are a few buses to Lewes and Seaford, but no buses after 5pm.
