Lovely warm welcome, clean with tastefully furnished bar, restaurant and rooms. Staff were very helpful and friendly

Arrived on a Friday so there busiest night and had to park on roadside and bring car in bit later but no big deal. Had a table booked for food and good selection with new menu and very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful and managed to look after us even though it was busy. Rooms are clean and basic but very good quality furniture and our room even had Jacussi bath which sadly didn't have time to try. Bed was firm but comfy for me as thats what i prefer. Full english breakfast was great 👍. Location is just on edge of housing estate on main road so not a lot going on but good for a base for touring peak district , etc. Would definately stay again 👍

Food choices especially at breakfast. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Lovely pub atmosphere with good spaces to enjoy.Great accommodation.

Excellent small hotel attached to a pub with a great restaurant. Manned by a friendly helpful team who despite being busy multi tasking at bar, check in, restaurant etc give great service. The breakfast included is very good a great start for a day in the dales or if you are traveling on.
