It was clean with a nice hot shower. The staff were friendly. It was down a side street so was nice and quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. It was a short 15-20 minute walk to the Taj. They gave me bottled water and there was also tea and a kettle.

Shivalaya is really good and it was very close to the Taj Mahal. Hospitality and cleanliness is very top notch. Had good time at shivalaya..

Walking distance to the Taj which is realistically why you’re coming here. Clean modern bedroom with a nice shower. Good tv, we watched a movie in bed with no issues. Room has no window despite the curtains in the photo. There was also no terrace which is mentioned on the listing.

We spent two nights at Shivalayaa and I can only recommend it. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming. Only the room could be a little bit bigger for two people and a window would be nice. But nonetheless, very nice accomodation.
