The hotel is quite unique. We ended up having a really good stay at Anatoli Hotel. The location and the views from the balcomy is really good! The hotel could use a bit of fixing up, so it is not for every one. But if you are bored of the many sterile places, and are not too sensitive and are up for a new experience, then this may be the place for you. The hotel owners were super friendly to us...with their unique Greek/Turkish flavour.

The staff were the kindest people one could ever wish for. My father has trouble walking so they changed our room to one closer to the sea. And I mean literally on the cliff over the waves. And it was per-fect! The room was not big, nor modern, and the design was a bit eclectic. The bathroom was tiny and it wasn't quite the best. BUT, did any of the drawbacks matter? NO. Not in the least :) And here's why. Philip, our host was hyper friendly, and a genuinely kind human being. Always focused on finding solutions. He did everything he could to be nice and make our stay as good as possible. The place has a large terrace, disco cafe bar. So there is always music into the night. His mom/the co-host would always be dancing and laughing and cheering people up. There were quiet corners on the terrace/courtyard as well where you could order food from Kiriakos, the exquisite restaurant next door. I wanted to sleep outside in a hammock and they set one up for me... It was just good. I enjoy a super modern, hyper careful place as much as the next guy, but in fairness... the people make the place and here the people get a 10 out of 10 hands down. Noone bothered us. We rested, reconnected, swam in the sea in front of the room, criss-crossed the island and always had good parking on return. And the views from our doorstep was just stunning every single moment. It's not for everyone, but if u're willing to be a bit flexible on some aspects, laugh a bit and not take yourself to seriously, Anatoli can be an amazing choice.

We were attracted by the pictures we saw of the decoration. When we arrived at the hotel it exceeded our expectations! It was like stepping into the fairy tale of One Thousand and One Nights. Beneath the charming surface, it was a simple and basic 2-star hotel, what one would expect. Wherever you went in the hotel and its surroundings, you discovered new pearls, stars, flowers, velvet and other details that contributed to feeling like you were in another world. The hotel is directly facing the sea with a beautiful view of the harbor bay. Bathing cliffs and small sandy beaches directly below. Very good location, right on the edge of the central village with many restaurants and shops right next door. Many other hotels are further up the slopes. Philip and his mother have created a unique hotel like no other! The hotel is rich in embellishment, imagination and love, don't expect a Hilton. We spent four nights at the hotel and will return every time we come to Aegina. Good to be aware that you cannot pay by card, but must bring cash or pay directly to their bank account.

Mumma & son Phillip where excellent host The outside entertainment in the evening was fantastic Getting all guest involved and making sure everyone was happy. The breakfast was fantastic, such wonderful choice of food, all lovely & fresh.. The views are totally amazing
