Meiko “Student Accommodation building, but fantastic stay for a solo traveller”

I didn't realise when I booked this, but this is a student accommodation building. As such, the rooms are not stocked like normal holiday accommodation, probably because it's designed for longer term tenants who would bring their own supplies. Reception desk is not always manned, but when it was the staff were very helpful. There is no physical key for room access, it is all done via app on your smartphone so you have to be careful not to go out with low battery. Location was fantastic - opposite the AGSA, behind Rundle Mall, and very good access to all forms of public transport. The building facilities are also amazing - gym is very well equipped and there are shared laundry facilities and lots of common spaces for studying/ working, cooking, and generally just hanging out outside of your room.

Good to have the common living, cooking space. Rooms are very tight for a couple, didn’t want to spend much time in the room.

The studio apartment was perfect. Perfect size fridge/freezer, cooktop and microwave, perfect. Bed was so comfortable! Laundry was great too Location was perfect.

The Switch is an excellent ( and I am picky )place to stay in Adelaide. The Switch ticked all the right boxes 100 per cent .It is a beautiful modern facility with a gorgeous old world facade. Would definitely stay again
