The fine print
Children under the age of 5 enjoy breakfast free of charge. For children between 6 and 12 years old, breakfast costs GBP 5. For children 17 years old, breakfast costs GBP 12.
Prices are per child per day.Please note children are welcome to use the leisure facilities, but those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The adult must be in the pool with them and a maximum of two children per adult.Pool opening times for children under 16 are Monday – Thursday 07:00 – 19:30, Friday – Sunday unlimited.Access to the Health Club and swimming pool are complimentary but not guaranteed, if the pool is at capacity.Please note last entry to the Health & Leisure club is one hour before closing.Children's meals are not included, and additional charges apply, payable to the hotel directly.Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

The property was in an ideal location for me and my partner, as we drove, so was easy access from the dual carriage way, it was also just a short walk from a petrol station and a couple of fast food restaurants. The food within the Altens was fantastic, with a great variety of choices for us. We also made use of the facilities such as the sauna, steam room and swimming pool, these were also fantastic.

comfortable room and bed spotlessly clean lovely big bar and reasonably priced food in bar was fantastic all staff were very helpful . overall a very good hotel
