The hotel is very outdated, suitable for the elderly, in the pictures it looks very impressive, in reality...not so much.

Hotel Smeraldo was a nice experience to us. As mentionned by others, it's not a new hotel anymore, but facilities are many, and it's well situated in quiet areas close to the center of Abano Terme, which is a very nice city to grown up people. The city has many shops, restaurants and nice streets to walk around. At the hotel, we specially liked the pool area in the garden, the heated waters and cleanliness everywhere. Also staff was nice, helpfuld and friendly and breakfast simple, but satisfying.

Pool, bar, AC in the room is excelent. I reccomend you more new things like new and modern blankets and sheets. But very nice and polite personel! :)

The room was large and with a nice balcony Breakfast was ok and sufficiently varied (for being in Italy) Free access to the thermal pool Close to city centre
