Nirmal(15 yrs Old but as mature as a 25 year old man judging by his managing skills), his younger brother, mother, father & cousins run the homestay, they make homemade food piping hot from their kitchen, feels like a Home away from Home! Although they provide breakfast only, everyday was a new experience, that maybe 5-star restaurants can only meet. Never thought I would get Avocado juice for breakfast! Everyday had something new & marvelous. Bathrooms had soaps & moisturizers specifically sourced from Sikkim! All requests, until 11 pm would be entertained & because it's a family run homestay, they wish not to be disturbed after 11pm since they need to get going early for making wonderful breakfast for everyone. They were very accommodating & sweet, tried to oblige all our requests without denial. The house itself is a marvel by itself, so well designed, it's nested on the hills so you have that beautiful morning view. Outside food is definitely allowed, you can even ask for suggestions to places from Nirmal. thankyou for a wonderful stay!

We had a great time at Mistletoe! The homestay is located in a remote area with great views and we had a spacious and clean room. The food that is served freshly is delicious and especially the breakfast is quite extensive! Unfortunately Joe was not able to welcome us but his sons did instead and they did everything they could to make us feel at home! His older son Nirmal even accompanied us to a sunrise hike and was an amazing company! We can only recommend the homestay if you visit Munnar :)

Everything, but particularly how well we were looked after by Joe, his family and the rest of the team. Joe sorted out all our activities and transport needs.
