Probably my #1 stay across all of Europe! We stayed at Zrinka House after visiting Plitvice National Park, and it turned out to be one of the best experiences of our entire trip. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the warmest, kindest hosts — Barbara and her mom Zrinka — who truly go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The location is fantastic — so close to the park entrance, as well as supermarkets and restaurants, making everything super convenient. The rooms are spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, and the breakfast is absolutely phenomenal. Barbara even bakes fresh chocolate cakes, coconut and chocolate chip cookies — unbelievably delicious! What truly sets this place apart is the genuine hospitality. They helped us with our luggage, gave us fantastic local recommendations, and were always ready with a smile and a kind word. It’s rare to come across such heartfelt, family-run places where you instantly feel part of their home. Don’t think twice before booking — you will absolutely love it and, like us, you’ll already be planning your return. Thank you Barbara and Zrinka for making our stay so special!

Mrs. Zrinka gave us very warm welcome, showed us around and gave us great recommendations. Her demeanor was very friendly and she seemed eager to help. Room was great!. everything seemed clean and given shampoo smelled amazing. Room looked luxorious. Breakfast was in buffet style. Mrs. Zrinka even offered us help with snack for lafer We enjoyed our stay :-)

Everything about our stay was awesome - Hosts Barbara and her mum were so welcoming and generous . From home baking when we arrived, local information shared, and after dinner drinks The breakfast was incredible with a huge selection of food and goodies to take for a picnic lunch . The room was gorgeous and so stylish . I would recommend this to everyone considering staying near the Plitvice lakes .
