I was in town to visit friends who have settled nearby. In this lovely little cobble stoned village in Portugal the Casa D'Acha was a real find. Spotlessly clean, there is some public parking at the end of the street a few steps away for small cars. Breakfast was great, even has a small room service menu of toasties, sandwiches and hot drinks available in the evening if you have a big day and can't be flagged heading out to a restaurant. The owner was lovely and incredibly kind and accomodating. I will stay here again when I visit my friends in the area. It is close to Monsanto as well (if you have a car). If you find yourself in this neck of the woods this B&B with aircon, spotless bathroom, character filled rooms, lots of cable channels on the TV in the room and open common areas is a restful base.

Beautiful property in quiet village. Room was well equipped with nice view over rooftops. Bathroom worked well and was good size. Cafe / pizzeria down the main road. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Host was excellent and showed us exactly where to go for short walk.
