“Ideal for my needs”

Located close to the railway station it was ideal for my travel requirements during my visit to Portugal and time touring the Douro Valley. The studio was within walking distance of several restaurants and a take away to provide a range of options. The studio was also well equipped for self catering and spacious. I would use again.

We booked one night and loved it so much we stayed a 2nd night. It was beautiful, very modern and large. It felt very luxurious.. the bathroom had lovely shampoo, a hairdryer and really nice towels. Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. There are train tracks across the street, i did not hear the train at all. Other reviews mentioned it. We absolutely heard nothing. The kitchen had a microwave stove fridge dishes. You are walking distance to the downtown waterfront. Close to wineries. The owner is in the pharmacy right beside the door to get it.

Easy pick up of keys from pharmacy below. They do a full clean of the flat if you want - the housekeeper was very diligent and cleaned everything very well including mopping the floors. I have stayed in flats where this isn't offered so this was great. The flat is quite large, like a large studio flat. Amenities like shampoo was provided. Parking is cheap and outside the flat (I think €3 per day but it is first come first served - we had no issues after 1800). Plenty of cafes and small supermarkets nearby. Really lovely property. Just be aware it's on the first floor and there is no lift
