The location of this hotel is really great. Just outside the door of the hotel is an exit to the Namba station. However, do keep in mind that the Namba station is huge - so it doesn't mean that an exit means a short walk to the trains. Some of the platforms took us about 15 minutes to get to as the Namba station houses many different lines. The hotel is also about a 15 minute walk to the famous Dotonburi, so mean finding food and shopping isn't going to be a problem. Rooms are not cleaned unless you request them and it is also based on how long you stay. Can't really remember the details but we stayed 4 nights and we allocated an eco-clean (change of towels, but not sheets), but we didn't request since we didn't see the need for it. We just made sure that trash was put outside our doors before 11am, for them to clear. PS - we stayed from the 2nd-6th July 2025 and there was demolition work next door, which went on fom 8.30am- 5.30pm. We were out most of the time during those times so it didn't really bother us.

The staff at Hotel Arashi Namba were always friendly and helpful during our stay. The location was also fantastic - within easy walking distance to Dotonbori and an array of wonderful dining options. As many reviewers have mentioned, there is a construction site next door - from memory signs in the hotel indicate this will continue until September 2025. This didn’t impact our stay though, as all work had wound up well before even an early bed time.

The staff was helpful although difficult to communicate with. The price was lower than other hotels in the area but the service and room were nice.
