A perfect place in the heart of Retezat. It's very clean, they meal they offer is traditional and fantastic. The hosts are very communiative, and I can only thank them for their patuence, as I was very detail oriented during the booking process. If you're a hiker, the Cabana is on the start of the routes towards the mountain complex.

We appreciated the friendliness of the staff and their helpfulness despite our late arrival. Our room was warm, clean and inviting, as was the shared dining room. After our successful climb of Pelaga peak, our host, Dorin, kindly toasted with us using his fine brandy, adding a nice touch to our stay.

The property is very clean! The location is wow, hot water at discretion and the innkeeper (Nea' Dorin C.) maintains the fires in the stoves for heat! He supplies wood every 30 min. And if you don’t.t have something, he will help you! For example, my friends and I didn't have fresh bread and eggs, he got these products for us from his home! The rooms are super spacious and you also have a dining room where it is very warm and roomy! We thank to Nea’ Dorin) for the super pleasant experience he offered us! The cottage is in the Retezat National Park, 5 minutes from the Lolaia waterfall! Outside you have a garden and a bbq! I will return with great pleasure to this location, especially due to the good behavior and respect for Nea’ Dorin, our five-star innkeeper! PS: Be careful! Dorin is a good chess player!

Beautiful location, gate to Retezat National Park. The host was very friendly and did everything in his power to make our stay comfotable even though he can't do much. He made the fire in our room and offered us țuică on the house. There are separate bathrooms for men and women, a kitchen and a lovely terrace. Although the place needs a little bit of TLC to make it even better you don't need more for the money you pay. Just a bed and a hot shower after a tiring day on the mountain.
