We had an extended stay and found Modica to be a great base to explore the region . The property is light filled , with great views of the town , modern and well located . A few flight of steps from the Main Street but quiet at night . We found free parking near the Deco supermarket and used the provided trolley to bring home provisions to cook . Eating out highlights were Radici , pizza in the lane way at La contea listening to live music at Bar Hemingway. Sofia was always responsive to any issues . Real old town experience with back lanes and views of the clock tower , Sicilian relatives even impressed !
