Very lucky find: this lovely villa is located in nature, overlooking Lake Ashi, a 10 minute walk down to Moto Hakone promenade with restaurants, shops etc. The home itself is luxurious, with an awesome sauna & hot tub and a large living area with terrace, boasting views of Fuji. We reached it very easily & the host was super helpful to recommend transport, taxi etc. We had a very relaxing time, particularly starting the day with coffee & a view! Everything was spotless and designed to ensure a very comfortable stay. Nearby attractions include the floating Torii, a rope way & lake cruises.

The view was spectacular and the house was very spacious with great amenities. The bath is a single room with traditional shower and bath, but nice large bath for after shower soak.

Beautifully presented house with stunning views over the lake and Mount Fuji. Lots of space, great facilities and very clean.
