The staff are lovely. Since we had young kids with us, it's great that it's so quiet at the far end. You'd never know there's a bar in the building. The old ruins are pretty cool. It's great being able to crank a window and skip using air con. I can't remember having stayed in a CBD hotel with opening windows before. While we didn't utilise them, it's fantastic that you've got the bar, Cafe, food area on hand.

A fantastic hostel in a stunning location with friendly and welcoming staff. Spacious, bright, beautifully designed. Kitchen very well thought out, with ample room for storing own food in fridges and cubby holes. Extra interest provided by archaeological dig in the basement. Brilliant roof terrace. A fraction of the price of adjacent hotels with identical prime position and views of opera house.
