Adelphi is iconic in Melb and I had high expectations. What I found was a very old not 5 star hotel. Was very underwhelmed with room details and even the rooftop pool also famous in melbourne was so dated and old looking pool and surrounds.

Location spot on. Hotel reception is funky. Staff extremely lovely, especially Irish receptionist. Welcome drinks, free snacks in room, coffee machine a bonus & ice cold drinks FREE. Barrista coffee & beautiful pastries included in stay. 100% stay again. Bonus-rooftop pool!

Lovely boutique hotel, well styled & perfectly situated for fun city things. Very sweet touches like handwritten notes & a bottle of sparkling to celebrate our anniversary booking were much appreciated also.
