“Spacious Retreat with a Warm, Welcoming Feel”

There was a lot to like: the room was comfortable, spacious and clean. The hosts were friendly, helpful, and ready to answer any question. The garden was big and full of trees. It was a lovely space to just sit and relax, and also to bird-watch. The breakfast was delicious, and served right on time. The location is on a leafy street, with several restaurant options nearby as well as closely located to the Zone@Rosebank, with more restaurants and the start-off point for the Hop On Hop Off bus, which was a relaxing way to cover a lot of Johannesburg. We'd gladly come back to Leighwood Lodge.

Wonderiful place, in a very good and safe neighbourhood in Johannesburg. The room is really large, with all comfort needed. Beautifull garden with a nice pool. Good restaurants and shopping nearby. Staff is very helpful and nice. Leigh, the owner of the lodge, is fantastic. Helpful with any tips, wishes and fun. If in Johannesburg, stay here.

The minute we arrived we were welcomed by Vee who took our bags and showed us around. The guest house has a stunning garden with a beautiful pool. Leigh also welcomed us with a much needed g&t after the 7 hour journey back from Kruger! Our room was spacious and had tea, coffee, drinks and snacks. The staff really make this place. They really care about you having the best stay possible. Thank you so much Leigh and Vee!

Beautiful property with a lovely garden and pool. Our room was super, great size with a very comfortable bed and large bathroom. Appreciated the fresh ground coffee and cafetière. Located close to many good restaurants and easy drive from the airport. Best part was the wonderful hospitality of Leigh, Tug, Sheila,Vee and of course the other staff who made our stay so enjoyable. We will definitely be back and thank you all.

Staff were fantastic - Leigh, Jessie and Shirley - all very kind and great to speak with. The rooms are big and very comfortable. Great attention to detail - everything you could need. The breakfast was very tasty and filling. Great location too - a beautiful neighborhood.
