The fine print
Please note, due to essential refurbishment works the Gym will be closed 7th June – 21st June 2024, and the Pool & Poolside facilities will be closed 24th – 30th June 2024. We apologise for any inconvenience.Please note that our extensive refurbishment project which includes installing air conditioning in all guest rooms, restoring our river and lake, and upgrading our Wi-Fi is going on from July 15, 2024, to February 14, 2025. Most of the work will occur Monday through Friday and some rooms may be affected by noise during the hours of 10 am to 4 pm.

Just wished there were more cooked vegetarian options at breakfast. Bathroom was kind of small and the shower barely had any power as the way the shower was designed, it would flood if it had power. Some of the reviews stating the hotel are not dog friendly is a complete lie. They gave us dog treats at every opportunity. You can't go in the main restaurant at dinner but you can book and just in the bar area with the main dinner menu which I actually preferred. The breakfast restaurant has an area for dogs and they greet you with more dog treats. Obviously the spa is off limits but that's it. Lovely grounds to take dog for a walk or if you cross the road and go up this side road, there's a lovely forest.

Friendly and comfy bar. Bar food quite good. Restaurant food was also good, but we had to wait longer than expected for it to arrive, as apparently was a large party in the function room. Nice pool and jacuzzi.

It was in a great location - close to all amenities and had a lovely garden outside. We needed the air con as it was hot even in April !

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful area. We wanted a few days away where we could relax and enjoy the facilities as well as visiting the surrounding beautiful villages. Breakfast was lovely and staff at the hotel were very helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is lovely, clean and spacious and the grounds around are green and nice to look out at. The room was a decent size, bed- not too bad, toiletries are lovely and the shower was good. Breakfast was really nice, loads of choice and everything we had was tasty. We had food in the bar twice, one meal was great, the other was ok. Lot's of areas inside and out to sit and relax.

Ideal location to explore.the Cotswolds. Very peaceful hotel, and we were able to enjoy drinks on the terrace due to the lovely weather. Bar staff were very approachable and pleasant. The food was very nice. The only fault was when we ran out of Body Lotion/Moisturiser after our first shower (Saturday). We did request a refill, but unfortunately, after asking 3 times, our stay was over (Monday) ..and we are still waiting!

Lack of disability access in terms of no lifts even though the building has 2 floors, only has stairs. Could also hear people walking up and down the corridor outside of the rooms. Other than that very comforatble, clean and well presented. Lovely breakfast
