As per Colombia´s tax law, only tourists who have a Permit of Entry and Permanence, tourist permit category PT before PIP-3, or PIP-5, or PIP-6, or PIP-10 are exempt from paying 19% IVA; or visa type V (Visitor) before Visa TP-11 or TP-12 or visa type M (Migrant) before TP -7 or visa type R (Resident). I was in Bucaramanga for one night, breaking a long journey, and in the hotel for only 12 hours or so. Check-in after a long bus journey was super-straightforward - thank you, Arturo. My room was large and comfortable with a coffee machine and a very good bathroom. The location is good - not that I went anywhere! - about 15 minutes' drive from the bus terminal. I had to leave early, before breakfast, but was given a very nice packed breakfast for my journey. I suppose this is mainly a business hotel? Not especially characterful but perfect for my needs.

Great place to stay. Good central location. Car park underground for guests! Spa costs and facilities were excellent, and great spot for sun on the roof around the pool.

Large comfortable room, marble floors, very quiet and dark at night with motorized drapes. Great buffet breakfast. Nice pool and terrace.
