The location of this hotel is ideal for the city centre and minutes from the train station. Been through a well done, lovely refurbishment, giving a modern feel but in keeping with the traditional style of the hotel.

First impressions, beautiful on arrival. The bar and main area is really impressive. The room was comfortable. However, the bathroom and window are in need of update/repair. Please expect noise, this hotel is central to the city. Not the hotels fault. A good choice of breakfast foods that were well freshened as breakfast went on. I would stay here again. Great value for money.

Perfect location for Theatre venue, train/bus stations, shopping, dining out, value for money, very good facilities, and lovely breakfast. Will definitely book this hotel!

I didn’t ask for a quiet room but I did book a twin room when we arrived there was a double room booked for us we were told there was only one twin room left,it was during the hot weather spell and there were two pipes the height of the room both were very hot,we could not open the window as there was nothing to keep it open,we managed to find something to wedge it open so there was some air getting into the room,unfortunately this also let in the noise from the birds!! There was only two sockets working ,we had to shift the furniture so that we could boil the kettle.
